on Parrot: I am afraid of Parrots but am in awe of them actually ~ A neighbor has one and I love to hear the squawk and squeal of it when it is outdoors. One time it got loose and was in my yard. I was so afraid my cats would get it - but he was well trained and waited for his Master to come while I stood with a broom ready to swish the cats away.
Spring - a remembrance here it reads to me. As if a love that got away ~ such imagery - and powerful metaphors. You know the more I read you CC - the more I wonder if one day you will be published or are you already? E.E.

Re: Sam
Thanks Sam, why do I keep thinking of you high in the air peddling away. When we were kids we all learned to ride on an old bicycle without any tyres bums were more resilient in those days.

Re: Taps
Yes Taps soaked in chloroform, just nibble the chocolate of first. I had a bantam cockerel and a neighbor about fifty yards away kept complaining. So I said alright Marie, if you pronounce the death sentence I will execute the poor little creature. Anyway I caught it each night and kept it in a box late morning. I don't like upsetting the neighbors.

Very interesting inversion of subject and voice, but can you just post 1 poem at a time? I only have one parrot mind and can't do counterpoints yet.

Would you believe that there is a real live noisy squawking parrot outside my open window? The lady on the level below me has come up with the parrot to go with her two yapping pomeranians and they all try to outdo each other on her patio below my deck. Do you think that chocolate covered Brazil nuts would help the situation?

The parrot was so humorous! KUDOS! Really, who taught her what to feed parrots with that red lipstick that was good for chewing on a stick, lol! And I loved this line:
Love floated on paper, before the ink was dry
AWESOME!!!! sam
