Go to Malcolm's midwife: Words from the heartAdd a commentGo to Families don't eat together

I think that without family time
the family loses it's connection and drifts sadly apart.  I don't have a table to eat at right now, but you can bet I will have one before I have somebody here to share meals with

Families that have dinner together every night are usually stronger
more confident, and have stronger ties. I admire it and wish to be part of such a beautiful family type of family life.

One has flown the nest,
mostly, so it is really good to have her home for dinner once in awhile!

Wonderful to have family meals together malcolm. Thanks so much for your visit and of course Susan and you will have each other's heart forever. You are a great family.

In America I would say that it's a microcosm of what is going on 24/7.

I know our dinner meal was ready at five when my dad came home and no tv was allowed on until night time

I think the gathering is the most important! When my children are at home we are always in the den! Have a great visit and catching up on the latest with your family! sam

I agree completely to what you say here. I knew a family now all
scattered sofa apart...they never ate together ever.

We may not always eat around the table, (lap trays are just too easy!) but we do always eat together. And yes, it wouldn't feel right if folk in the family ate separately.
