Yes, this business is open 24/7. I think your hypothesis of a customer coming in with a pickup is a great one.

Dad has never seriously considered installing cameras at our business. I myself have long been a proponent of it. Expensive equipment and being a cash business necessitates it in my opinion. Dad just always scoffs at the idea though without giving me any reasons. I wish he would change his mind.

Is that location open 24/7? Would it have been a customer driving in with maybe a pick-up? That was some post my friend. I think I'd spend a week asking every customer that drove in if they have any knowledge of who may have done that. Perhaps mention a reward for info. I am sorry this happened to your family my friend.

Wow..FSI..you wrote it out so well I could envision the whole thing and it felt like a movie I was seeing. How horrible people can be. Too bad you did not have the caller ID and if he had not made the call from the phone booth..I don't know what a silly guy that would be!!

I hope the guy gets caught! Has your Dad ever considered installing cameras at your locations? They're not expensive, can be monitored easily from a central point, and/or yould also record everything...

that was awful for all of you to have to go through, as far as the calls it may take a subonea to get the records. At least that is what we were told who worked for the phone company, maybe it will be different in this case. Good luck finding him.

{Z I hope that the person used a land phone or cell phone. There are other channels for that person to express his grievance. Also he can go to another carwash or wash his vehicle themselves. But no people are tough nowadays. And bad customers. At the store I hear too much use the words steal when they take an item off the shelves. And they tear the goods apart.
