Kaboom
I love sushi and especially sashimi! We have quirte a few sushi places here in Toronto. There is a large one downtown that has a kind of island in the center, surrounded by a trough or 'moat', table-high. And on this moat they have boats going around, chained to one another, and people take off these boats whatever they want. Everything is on colour-coded little plates, which you stack up beside you when you're done. Also, there's always a boat that carries extra gari, and you take however much you want, free of charge...
I was downtown today, and now I kick myself for not having thought of it, instead of having no lunch at all...

Sydney is such a Cosmopolitan city and Sushi is very poplar,,,,,
I think for several reasons......price....speed......weight conciousness....tastes great. I love it and will stuff myself at least once when I get back to Australia later in the year. We have those same assembly line Sushi bars that you described as well....and there is a great place in Bondi Junction where the cheff throws the cooked food onto your plate. It is a hillarious riot of fun.

Man.... you need names... ha ha... I was sweating there for a minute... I will TRY to be more verbal in my next email! LOL
I know those days... I have them EVERY DAY with MIL...but unlike your FIL...she DOESN'T simply forget due to dementia...she remembers and then turns it around... which is worse???
Aly likes Sushi-ro too... I think you need pictures to conjur up images... hell of an idea though, don't you think? Hope your irritation is less today, it really IS a lovely day! The Chilean wine sounds GREAT!
Talk to ya soon!
