I loveyour blogs.....I just came in from milking the cow by hand......
churned the cream into butter....by hand and baked a non packet cake for tea.
I wouldn't change the times I grew up in even if it does mean that I am closer now tothe end than to the beginning. We were much more free
to run around outside without the risk of abduction
Smacks were intermingled with kisses ...all from my own parents..not some kids care place
I learned the piano and to sing and it didn't financially cripple my parents
I joined a sports team to play field hockey...for free.....the fields were maintained with money raised from a weekly country dance where I could meet Boys.
Sorry this is becoming a blog.

"Values" is a word that must be tattered unrecognizable anymore. Usually the last person on the block to feel sentimental, nevertheless I regret the loss of emotional connection as I see all the things mentioned (in your blog) 'take over.' We may be in a Star Trek age, but even in Star Trek it was human values that always came through to save the situation.
