I like it!
I often use trees for the exact same imagery - strength and wisdom seems right for such wonderful things.
(PS. the Oak is the one with squirrels in it
)

I also love trees. Everything about them is pleasing to me..... (except when they get overtaken by bagworms).

Awesome...

Trees are rooted, strong and each so unique. I have found myself becoming Mesmerized by a tree in those quiet moments.

The tree is an excellent metaphor for our own lives...I am like you as well in that I like trees. Also like you I am clueless when it comes to telling the different types apart.

I really needed this today...I am having one of those looking back wards
days...it's miserable dull weather today and perhaps I need to stand tall like those trees outside that have no choice but to face winters and storms bushfire and the encrouchment of man. Well I will try anyway so thank you.

Hazel, this is fabulous. I so agree with you - tress are kind of symbolic of strength and shelter and endurance and life. Go for it!
