This is a very interesting poem - you show the allure and bright colours of the seashore and the beach in a way that reminds me of a painting by Matisse - and then you remind us that we have really lost our innocence and that these are guilty pleasures! We have come to know that they are destructive, and that really there is also a strange emptiness about lying about on the beach...

i love the beach- this is a great poem
as for my daughter's dog, where do we find the dog catchers? my daughter has given up and is sure the dog is dead somewhere. other than calling the shelter's she has been walking the streets for a few days looking.

I guess this sums us all up Simone, but I bet you use sun cream and wear sunglasses and never roast in the sun. I don't mind being in the sun if I am working, believing glow as ladies call it sweat, to me is self protecting, hopefully. I liked this poem.
