this is not good
I am losing hope for mankind --OH! Sorry! Meant (I mean..."WOmeant") to say "humankind." Oh, maybe I should have said "human likeness," or something, lest anyone get the wrong idea that I think humans are necessarily kind. Anyway, history (or HERstory) might show us to be fools one day. Sorry, hope I didn't offend anyone by saying  "fools." ...

Why can't we enjoy Christmas without looking over our shoulders

Great
blog, and it is difficult relating part of the Christmas story to kids with the "three wise people". Like, hey, grand pa, were they Asian, Russian, American huh?? What were these "people" grand pa.? "Hush up kid, don't matter, they could ride camel like crazy though."

Remember...

These are the same people who wanted to ban the term "brainstorming" because it might offend those afflicted with epilepsy.

Your Celto-American (and equal in every way, but deeply apologetic for my race and gender's ongoing hegemonic appropriations, mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa) friend.

I wish you were in charge of all language-related matters
