MEGIRL, I am so sorry you have not felt well! I think it is a good idea to get the experience wherever you can! I think the retired teachers are probably having to supplement their retirement! But, there is a time and place to get out of the way and let the new teachers get their start! I thought it was good to go in person, I think it demonstrates your interest in the particular school as well as securing a position! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, too! I am anxious to learn of Freeman! I do hope he is well enough! MEDEAR

Good luck with the job hunt! And if you get in at the small school, consider yourself fortunate - generally, the smaller ones tend to be better in many respects, so I've been told...
