It is creating a major mess! I think it's time to rethink off shore drilling! The damage is too great! sam

Re: Water Kat
Thankyou for your comments. I really do hope 'God' does save it because there seems no other hope than this.
*By the way, I was being totally sarcastic when I said governments know better!

Water Kat
I live in one of those states where this occurred. First allow me to assure you I am not unconcerned about that and any damage to the planet. In having said that I also assure you this planet is not here by accident, God created it, put the oil there and He is most concerned that we have allowed the main inhabitant to disintegrate. Our morals are in the gutter, no our government does not know better than the citizens whom the government works for about any of our conditions. If we will clean up our act the rest will much more easily fall into place. We can't create an earth, we can't save it and we can't destroy one, God created it, he cursed it because of sin and he can and he will save and refurbish it.

I really loved your description of humans here in your comments. So sad but such an exact way of thinking of us. Thankyou

Kat,
It is a hard thing to bring myself to say, but I am coming to the conclusion that our originally pristine planet will continue to degrade, until human life becomes wiped from the face of Earth, or very NEARLY so. We are an infantile, shortsighted, ignorant species, not fit to survive over the long term. We can be best understood if viewed as a very successful infestation of parasites, that multiply themselves out of existance, or kill the host, or very NEARLY so. Sad, but I don't think that we can evolve quickly enough.
