Don't tell me that you haven't seen people who glory in feeling superior to others, morally superior, stronger, more chosen, more blessed, and smug in the knowledge, that all who believe differently than they do, will deserve exactly what they will get. People like these are why the term, "Holier than thou." was written. Christians thought up the Inquisition, and the Salem Witch Trials. It seems to me that more of humanity has been slaughtered in the name of "GOD" whoever or whatever THAT is supposed to be, and the only evidence I see of good in any religion is done by humans. Where are the gods that these gullible humans live, and do without for, fight and die for? Show me ONE that can answer my questions, and bring a really dead ANYTHING back to life, and I might be talked into believing in a deity, but all of them have apparently sworn off personal contact with their own creations. "When you believe in things, you don't understand, SUPERSTITION..........."

Dear Guy,

I am sorry that you have had negative experiences with Christians who are judgemental toward you. I am a Christian and each day I do my best NOT to judge others. There is only one whose place it is to judge, and it certainly is not a fellow human being.

Nope, we haven't had any kind of a disagreement, because I don't talk with her about her superstitions. She believes in ghosts, fortune-tellers, card-readers, Horrorscopes, Bigfoot, yeti, aliens, Nessie, angels, devils, fairies, demons, you name it, she believes it. Make up a NEW one, she'll believe it just because you said it. What I wrote about "true believers" is spot on. No sense in arguing with them. At least she doesn't carry around a rabbit's foot and four-leaf clovers. Must be the Cherokee in her, and here I've always heard that the Cherokee were among the smartest of native Americans. You can't believe anything you hear!
