The govt should get with it and keep up with this situation. The deserving immigrants should be incorporated and become citizens if they wish. The criminals and human traffickers can all go home or to prison. Bleeding hearts like me feel they deserve several breaks if they are willing to do hard work that many Americans will not do.

Funny!
When I was growing up then in the summers while I was in college, I farmed. I was in the fields at 5am until 3pm then in a factory running a wool baler from 4pm to midnight. This was weak compared to what my 85 year old Dad did in his early days. Then we see where the kids of today would not be caught dead in a field in the sun and heat.
I do believe this goes back to one of your blogs with a similar tone or topic (can't remember which one) so who do we really have to blame here...hmmm?! Know what I mean?

I am not sure what a bunch of criminals, drug gangs and those who simply want our welfare will 'teach us". Been there, done that in this nation for years. yes, I agree, being a criminal and not caring about this country is DIFFERENT from my family's values. Open your eyes to what is really going on instead of the liberal approach.

I don't think your government was as dysfunctional about borders as the citizens who needed cheaper labour for their work than America could provide so they imported the labour........now those wealthy folks should be made to pay their way back.....

I feel that both sides of the debate need to make concessions. I myself do not see it as simply being an argument where one side is 100%. Both sides could very much learn from the other. I feel that your post conveys this well.

You make some good points.
Why some of us are so afraid of anything the least bit different from ourselves, who look upon "other" people as threatening rather than someone with great new food or something interesting to teach us is beyond me.
