- Go to TWO BLOGGERS HAVE SEPARATED, WILL DIVORCE
The end of their marriage has no effect on my views of marriage. I am well past the point of being surprised when marriages end. I have seen more marriages up close and personal end. After awhile, it is not exactly surprising. By no means do I not have faith in the institution of marriage though.

Some times a marriage just gets past its used by date
People used to stay together because it was the normal but if they could talk....how many were happy all those years?

nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to marriage. I wrote a blog about how my parents made it to almost fifty but my dad died, I made it to twenty and my spouse left me for another woman. Which partner is at fault? Or is it both that they just dont try anylonger? Why after all those years divorce? I dont have an answer to any of this. I wish now that I am retired I had a mate, this is not what I expected forty something years ago.

Actually, Mr. Gore won the popular vote in 2000.
He was not outvoted by his opponent. It was that many votes were cast in states without so much electoral college clout -- the electoral college actually makes the decision, and the Supremes (court) sealed the deal. As for Al and Tipper, I'm sorry to see it end, but it's their circus and they're the ones who know if it's entertaining or not. I wish them luck.
