Grief is such a painful, hard, terrible thing Skye.  I still grieve the loss of my Great-Grandparents every day...though it has gotten much, much better.  My prayers are with both you and Faye.

You are coping with your loss so well. It's unbelievably hard for everyone who loves, but some are able to move forward better than others. So glad you're not stuck and are getting through it, although the first anniversary is always an incredibly difficult time. Lots of love, Skye.

How wonderful to think of the roses and using it for a close! I think you are progressing through the stages of grieving quite nicely! It is marvelous to feel his presence, too! I can appreciate not wanting to have some one stay for our own selfish reasons even when the quality of life is far gone, I would not want to exit under those conditions, either! I know it is very difficult for you but you were an amazing wife to Richard and I believe that is why you are able to move through the stages at an even rate! And thank you for all the tips on trying to get food in my body, I loved everyone of them! And when my daughter gets on Sunday she is taking me to the store and I shall be shopping! Have a glorious weekend! I had to chuckle when you said you took Rosie for a walk, but she dragged you! sam
