ain, my approach was to place the burden of learning (ones' own mind, interests, writing style, opinions, capacity) on the students. I did this by increasing the time for writing. They're gonna be their best teachers; critiques are useless, best to make only positive remarks, ask questions, or do social chatting. Nothing you say will do what your students can do for themselves, given the opportunity. Good luck!

WE all struggle and even teacher are learners as long as they put themselves in the others shoes but sometimes teachers don't get the wearing only the booting of others..Funny! Keep trying for it is an experience a good teacher.
