There is a beautiful bittersweet pattern to your poetry, true to life and its ups, downs and ins and outs, its great expectations that are often disappointed.

The thought of your goodbye
How very romantic and at the same time poignant!  I'll be moving from Scotland to the south coast of England on the 29th of this month so I'm sure my boyfriend could identify with the sentiments in your poem.  Well done.

Goodbye
Touching words Simone, I suppose in storms one can relate to memories easier

I SO love a storm!
Anytime, night or day... though at night, they create such a sense of peace in me that I mostly sleep through them.  Strange, huh?

Never seeing that special someone again can be a traumatic thought.

You have captured it brilliantly - the world a reflection of the soul's turmoil...
