Stay safe and connected, Tzippy!
Sleepless nights surely throw our plans into turmoil. Hope you have gotten some rest by now.

Yes, I too have had sleepless nights, and I hate them! But I found a way of dealing with them that works for me, though it may not work for others - I read a boring book, and after a while I just nodd off...

It doesn't usually matter much to me anymore if I have those sleepless nights (which I do) since I'm retired and can nap all I want in the daytime. But, I fully understand how difficult it is for you when this happens. All I can say is get old quickly so you can give up the things that you just have to do in the daytime.

When I have nights like that, I get up and turn on the TV.
I make myself focus on the inane ridiculous crap. I rant and rave at the directors and producers and writers and network execs who think this stuff in interesting or entertaining. I look at commercials and demand out loud that they tell me why anything they're peddling is worth spending my hard-earned money for. Sometimes I even fall asleep while I'm distracted. At least I blow off a bit of steam -- not exactly counting sheep, but easier than letting my brain continue its woulda-shoulda-coulda spin cycle. Some days you just have to say screw it, and move one foot at a time.

A busy mind can be a curse at night
I am told there are some meditations which help combat that, though
