I would love to see Murray win it for he is a great person and player! The Soccer tourney has been so odd this year! Roddick is my guy and he is gone, too! sam

Kabu has me hooked into watching the soccer, I rather enjoy the sport and see great similarities to hockey here but players more gentlemanly to one another.

I've always said about sports
if you want to play--Go Head. I'll watch. Actually, I guess I'm the only one in my family that doesn't watch sports. Mom watched a ballgame everyday.

sports can get to the point where they are way overhyped, as are a lot
of the way-overpaid athletes.

..(England never really got their heads into the World Cup)..

Sports struggles are very much a part of the game. I think you have hit the nail on the head of it being character building. Very rarely can teams or athletes in individual competition dominate all of the time.

I haven't been watching any of the sport
but I think winning is over rated, surely a more worthy goal would be to have a great game
