Yeah, LadybugJ,
I'm sure he'll be financially fine if (and hopefully) his career is over.

He has gone mad, mariss9, but
I don't like him even more FOR making that film about Jesus. He only spread more lies and hate with it. Some of it was well portrayed, I suppose, but portraying the Jews as the killers of Jesus was WRONG. Regardless of his movie making, he has proven that he is an angry, hate-spreading monster. Thanks for reading this and commenting!

What happened to him? He sounds like he's gone mad. He may not be able to stop the oil from gushing when he can't control the bizarre talk that he gushes lately. I have some liking for him making the Jesus film, but can't support the strange trash rants.

Mel Gibson
I used to just love Mel Gibson, but his mouth has turned me off totally. His drinking has ruined his career I think/LB

I know, Lovelylady. And...
that was one of the main reasons I was so against that movie. It was purposely misleading and only caused more hatred and lies. Like we need more of that in this world.

I used to be a big fan of Mel's...not anymore. It's a good reminder that we should never bare witness against false idols, eh? And just to clear up one more point...It was NOT the Jews who murdered Jesus, it was the Romans!

Good points, Rumor. Especially the big head!
I hope his career is over. I'm sick of this jerk.

SpitFire, that's a good idea, but he's got too big a head and wouldn't
fit properly...along with everything you've mentioned, I guess he's threatened his wife (or is it "ex-wife now?) and even implied arson...Nope, this guy is way overboard and his movie-making career is over (unless he still has enough money to make them himself independently)..

Re: Sam, what scene are you referring to? Just curious. Oh, and
Toward the end of carrying the cross he gives a look back toward where Mary Magdalene was and the intonation is that he was biding her farewell. It is implied that they were lovers! Not true in my mind and his downfall gives me more proof!

Catholics lauded him with 'The Passion of the Christ' but I have always felt there was a scene in it that was not true of Jesus and I knew the Lord would smite him for it! Only, he allowed his own ego to take him down! PERFECT!!!! I aver, I knew he was headed for a downfall! So, on with the plug, I'm in! sam

Well said, Guy.
I actually feel kinda bad for the embarrassment he has probably caused his family. I just don't understand how he (or others) don't GET IT after repeating the same bad choices. Especially someone in the public eye.

I do believe that many true feelings and opinions come out stronger when someone is drunk.

@ Good luck with this blog. Today’s quick wit makes it a fun read. The punch line’s interesting! Mel Gibon could do an Archie Bunker reality series! I paid the hospital myself. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst

MANY functional drunks wobble off the table edge, after losing their minds!
Fireyone,
Old MEL has killed most of his brain cells, after many years of hard drinking. Nobody can live to be my age, without seeing this happen to friends and family dozens and dozens of times. I've heard that many Aussie men really pound down the beer, like fraternity boys, and such behavoir will eventually make them unable to control what they do and say. Obviously, he has been a violent bigot all of his adult life, but before alcoholic dementia set in, he had the sense to control his violent urges and to clamp his mouth shut, so people wouldn't know that his head is fillled with snakes and worms.
It is time for him to realize that his career is over, and just become what many of my relatives did, drooling resentful idiots, who spend their waking hours in an alcoholic haze, their nights dead drunk, until they finally graduate to being only DEAD!
Let's hope that he doesn't blow the fortune that he made with his movies, because the horde of his children, ex-wives and girlfriends, will need years of psychiatric and psychological counseling, to break the chain of destructive behavior.
Guy

Kabu, yes, he's out of control and
as far as the flaky comment...no. It's certainly not old fashioned! I agree. Kelly, especially. I think she can be pretty funny but she is just kind of fake. Fake Flake? LOL

Oh I agree with you and I am ashamed that he calls himself an
Australian...he's a violent drunk and very very out of control. Time he retired....wonder what all his children think with a Father like him.
Actually I don't enjoy the R&K show I just watched because of PEI. I find them both very flaky....or is that an old fashioned word these days.
Yes their take off of Anne was pretty stupid I agree.

Agreed, Taps. But ya know,
I think he lost it a long time ago. My life has spun completely out of control but I don't take it out on others. He's a jerk.
