Rereading this because it is such a timely reminder...
And Ash, I want to thank you for your wise and sane comment on another blog concerning redirecting energies into doing good by looking for organizations that help abused women and children. Many of us tend to get caught up in the heat of the moment sometimes, egos start burning out of control and the smoke obliterates the root cause of our dispute which is really a tinderbox of frustration and/or helpless feelings over the outrages and tragedies around us. I think most of us humanoids, not all, but the majority, just want the hatred and suffering to end. But we don't know how to bring that about, so we lash out at each other in a melee of conflicting opinions, belief systems, social/political orientations. And it helps exactly no one.
I try to remember that small steps begin the journey. I appreciate
that reminder too. You are valuable to this community...plus your writing rocks!
