LOL - your bro has cahones (sp?). Good retort! I can spend hours in flea markets too. Like you did, I end up buying books.

Abuelita,
I always enjoy hearing from you. You are a generous friend to those like me, ignorant of how things work, but wishing to play with the big kids. If I understand what you have told me about posting photos, I ought to go with Shaycom's photo hosting service. I wonder if their prices are competitive?
Having been writing here, on Blogit for several years now, I have seen them be quite heavy-handed, making decisions about perceived infractions of their rules, and now it seems that they made this change to their policy just to make more money.
I think that they have affected Ariala's ability to show her photos, (and HOW MANY others?) of what our fellow bloggers look like, on her popular site. She was actually doing everyone a SERVICE, including Shaycom, but apparently, the mighty dollar looms very large to Shaycom. Shortsightedness and greed can kill the Golden Goose.
I've seen many of those empty boxes with a small red X in them, and I now think that I understand where the problem originated, now.
I wonder if there is a way around Shaycom's power play, or if everyone who posts photos on Blogit MUST now buy into their hosting "service?"
Thank you for taking the time to try to clear up some of my questions, dear Abuelita.
People find a good thing, A welcoming state like Arizona, a pristine island, with low costs, welcoming diversity, etc or a venue that becomes popular as a means to expressing oneself, (like Blogit) and somehow always find a way to ruin everything!
              Guy

using their code. I think that it stopped working, hot, as Blogit blocked the access, trying to sell its own photo hosting and posting.

We have a huge Swap Meet here, flea market. But now, all the Somali, etc. refugees call it the Mexican Market and Spanish does help one to get better prices

New Mexicans are nice like Arizonans used to be. We accepted everyone until we went brain dead about one million new residents ago. They move in from other places and try to change our culture, don't learn anything about us and just push until, well, until we have new stupid legislation now.

So, I highly recommend New Mexico, until its new residents make it say and do stupid things. They presently tolerate people like your brother with happiness as we used to do when we had a working brain !!!

I love NM, too.....my mom is there right now and as soon as I find a cat sitter I'm going to visit her.  She spends the hot Texas summers there....in Cloudcroft, NM....it's at almost 9k and cool....a wonderful, make that magical village that she's been spending her summers in for about 20 years now.  It reminds me of that funny little town in Alaska that TV show was about several years ago Northsomething, I can't remember....anyway, I love it.....and White Sands National Park is really close and that is something else to see with Holliman (sp?) AFB.....anyway, I've got to find a cat sitter so I can get on the road before a hurricane hits and I have to go to work.
