Marta~ As always, your words are pure art. I've missed it so.

Wonderfully haunting verse too! You're so creative and talented, and what a way with words! Thanks very much for your comment. What you've seen/heard about India's poverty etc is the stark truth, and there's a whole lot of other negatives which we're ashamed of. But there are a few positives--flora/fauna, mountains, historical monuments, art etc! Apart from loving these, specially the wildlife, I try to focus on the silver linings (maybe like an ostrich!) But I promise you all these when (not "if") you visit us, which I hope you will seriously consider--and I mean that--you are more than welcome! I will keep reminding you!!

Wonderful imagery and quite melancholic Sinome. I loved that the pen was used as hope. Thank you for the visit.

Through such a chaotic scene the speaker is ready to dream...I'm loving the concept.

This makes me think of thunder
that comes, but the rain doesn't fall.

My Mother hated storms and refused to cook or to set the table...a fork may
electrocute us as it attracts the lightning.

Simone
Simone when there is a storm we shut the computers down and growl. Evidently you love the power that is there and you are able to wrest something beautiful from that dimension.

That's what we had last night, thunder and far away lightening and I should have had this poetry of yours last night but it's lovely to read tonight

thunder
Truly lovely. I liked it best the closer you stuck to the concrete image - thunder has no real implications for me beyond its thrill and majesty.
