Very beautiful, and sad.  Makes me think of an 84 year old woman I know.  I love reading your poetry.

it brings to my mind my days of running the Nursing Home
so many ...just waiting...others feisty and living each day to the best that they could...but those just waiting...saddened my heart.

I think I do understand this poem Simone because it is universal unfortunately. To depict it poetically is some feat
