I forgot to say that I think this is a memorable poem.

what her lover said to her
This touches a tender chord in me.  My father's last request when he was dying was a bowl of clam chowder from Drewsen's deli.  No fan of ANY kind of soup, I wasn't listening well.  I went down and got him some cream of celery. He ate/drank it.  Why the hell couldn't I get that straight!  Sorry, but you got it right in another context, and here I am filling up.

Tears of understanding and
tears of grief and thankful that part of my journey is over and the suffering is no more. It is hard to believe that it has been almost a year already.  One more thing to get past and then learn to BE.  Many Blessings dear Simone.

Those are words that nobody in love wants to hear!

There is no easy way.
But it eases grief, though, when someone else's words remind you that you are not alone.

Simone
Memories will sustain you and your Love will always be in you soul the nourishment of being together that live forevermore. Fema

Simone I can feel for you the symptons are painful to both until one slips into into a different world which leaves the stranded survivour to try to reclaim or salvage the most beautifull  things in this world.

going back to familar moments can have a depressing emotion on you

That was beautiful.
A last goodbye is not an option for everyone.
What is sad is when death parts lovers, suddenly, violently, when there have been no opportunity for goodbyes, no last "I love you's."
