I believe in sticking it out too, Auslander, but don't wait until it makes you physically ill. It really is not worth it. Parents have forgotten how to raise their children, then wonder why a lot of teachers are so 'blasé'. It's called a
method of survival.

I had the same problem with teaching! I just could not see myself banging my head against the wall trying to stimulate students to learn so I went into administration! Perhaps that may the next step for you MEGIRL! Just hang in and another position will come your way! MEDEAR

Oh boy, can I relate to that! I once did a bit of high school supply teaching to fill in some time - never again! You certainly have my sympathies!
Frankly, I predicted your reaction to that experience, but of course I didn't want to tell you that...
