This one is a tough call
but I do believe that until we all learn to co-exist we will continue to try and wipe the earth out of anyone who isn't like "us". But that begs the question who are "we". Well let's see by heredity, I am a German/Jew (Blonde and blue eyed as child...hmmm Hitlers perfect German), I am an American by birth, a Yooper by choice, a woman by gender and Spiritual is my chosen religious affliation. Who exactly am I? I am an individual, blessed enough to live in a country that grants me the freedom to be all these things and more. I am grateful for those freedoms and they have cost me a dear price as the wife (former wife) of a soldier. Yet, I feel it's worth the price to never fear being arrested of killed for my choices.
If we truly appreciate the philosphy this country was founded on then we should be embracing the individual choices of others as well because in my opinion that is who "we" are!
Sorry putting soapbox away now.

Re: sam
w sam makes a valid comment. It shows a loving and fair attitude. I fear the motive and don’t see big religious buildings in a trade center. However I support “chapels” for various faiths. For this post I’ll go with sam. Certainly the issue needs more discussion. Everyone’s motives need to surface. I see the issue as one for urban planning. BC-A, Bill’s RJLst
