It must take quite a lot of strength to look at the good side when a
terminal illness has struck.

Beautiful Memories are being created for her family
and I pray that grace and ease of acceptance will be with her and her family as her disease progresses and they are faced with the daily decline. What a wonderful strong family.

I've missed a lot RR....
....I'm supposing that Rachel has terminal cancer, just got married and has a little boy too? This is all heartbreaking but it sounds like they are happy, positive people, determined to live their lives.

its great to hear the hotel gave them an upgrade,
Rachel was able to eat a full meal, and she is writing to all her friends..the whole family seems to have a very positive attitude, and thats great...
and they have the goal at the end of October to shoot for...miracles still do happen..

It is great
and humbling to all of us who read these posts, I'm sure. Recording happiness is so important and yet how many of us really stop, reflect and smile? Hopefully posts like these will persuade us to do so. I certainly will.

so many people die suddenly without telling their loved ones how they really feel. Her last days are a gift - to those around her, her husband and son; sad but in a way, very uplifting.....Mal

This is very good Rocking...better than good. It is WONDERFUL! I am so grateful and thankful and happy that she is well for the moment. I pray she will remain well for the family holiday.
A very happy first birthday to little Sam. And yes, Rachel's letters are a wonderful gift to her friends.
