You're very empathetic and I admire that quality. Poor one losing nerve...I have done that many a time. And I hope you do get 'brownie points' --- you do in my book FSI ~ you are so organized and eager and Congrats on your 'good' --- Elyse

You seem to be sailing along just fine, and I'm sure Paul will get over it...

Re: How's Paul feeling now? Did you have a chance to share a word with him?
No, I did not have a chance to speak with him.

Nerves Got to Him
For not being slow to give it in each time, you are probably gaining mental points with the tutor, but be careful. Sometimes if a student does that, and then doesn't get a good mark, the teacher can wonder if they are giving it their very best, and warn them not to give it in so quickly. Just something to think about

Glad you are doing well.

I can't imagine
as fair as it sounds as this Professor has been that she would penalize Paul for nerves. My suspicion is that she simply wanted to see the work and effort put in behind it.

I am sure she keeps it in mind who turns in assignments in a timely fashion! I felt bad for Paul, too! How terribly to lose a train of thought and be unable to recover! I think she did the right thing by not evaluating Paul, too! sam

FSI, Paul may benefit hugely by what he went through...
It can happen to anyone - a loss of train of thought and uh..oh..

...yes, I've been there a few moons ago...:) I bet he will ace his final presentation.
