I have not done any knitting or crocheting or embroidery for a hundred years or so, it seems. I wonder if I still could.

It seems that people these days have small use for sewing and knitting, all the old shops seem to be fading into memory

Interesting comment about Norwich
as you say, with its wool trade history! I love a good tea cosy - the teapot looks naked with out it.

What a lovely gift to make for your daughter! I haven't knitted for ages, but you've inspired me, so it's off to the shops this weekend for some yarn.

Comment on Knitting!
Pink and purple should look really nice together. Nice gift. Cold tea is horrible.

I am trying to learn how to knit and crochet! It's a bit difficult because of limited use of my right hand, but I refuse to give up! I'm sure your daughter will love the tea cozy.

Ah such a LOVE Gift ~ and it's amazing isn't it how there are no more it seems of wool, yarn stores - It's sad to me. I liked the exclusivity of choice found in these shoppes. However, it sounds like you chose some fantastic colors ~ Have a wonderful day and time 'knitting' ~ Elyse
