Like adnohr, I wonder if I could have endured the never-ending abuse without doing something illegal to this criminal... And after all, it only would have been juvenile court...

His is an incredulous beast! How he can be so narrow minded and selfish defies rationale for me! I am with you, I would have wanted to run away as fast as my legs would take me, but then the ones left behind would not have the rock they needed! sam

I expect I'd be in jail now if I had been forced to live with such a man. Not even the worst of our foster homes were as bad. Great writing! And your poem said it: To yourself be true.
