Re:
No jfm, if my memory serves me correct, I had the worst two lines of poetry you had read to date.  I'm not here on the premise that my poetry is supposed to be a certain meter, rhyme scheme, etc.  BUt, I do accept your response and respect your opinion.  I'm glad you take the time to read my poetry and respond, although mostly negative returns.  I on the other hand do not think I have read one of yours.  But, then again, who's counting?  Good luck to you!

Well! I'm glad you only do this here, because this is a very long poem, and I got lost in it! I liked what I thought was to be the first part, then I start thinking why so many of us have no idea or a sensibility where a poem ends. That's because our thoughts keep traveling when the thought has already been done. If a poem, by its nature, is the stucture of an inner insight, where do you sense the parameters might be? Thus a poem might only be a response to a gift--of when and how to speak, and when to be silent. So if the idea of poetry exists, there is probably a reason why it is the way it is. At least now, we have something to measure ourselves to. To over-speak the proposition, is sometimes to loose the very intention of the idea. I got lost when your poem became a journal and you started explaining to yourself a thought that had already been done. I'm sure you don't agree, and I'm open for discussion--and who knows, maybe I can learn and experience something.
