Re: Sam
I wish I could offer you words of wisdom or comfort or even preparation but I know too well that there are not to be offered, Love him, love him and love him and be kind to yourself. Remember, God is never more than a prayer away and he is always there ready to listen.

I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw Blue Star Memorial Hwy! I traveled that road so many time in my teens and twenties! It was a haunting reminder! I am proud of our service personnel and these two dedications were superb! I am having a trying day with recognition, I am both proud and angry equally! I have lost so many friends and family due to war and its resulting complications! I fear for my son who is making final preparations to go to Afghanistan! At the end of the day we must extend our gratitude for their sacrifices! And my prayer is that another life not be lost, on either side! Excellent post that gives me a bit of calm in a time I need it most! Thank you! sam
