I have a feeling it's a favorite passtime for most of us here.

Re: I was going to ask about NaNo...
Pat,
I think the important part is that you are writing and enjoying the process. While writing 50K sounds nice, you have to feel good about what you have written.

Re: TAPS
The rain got to be a bit too much for me. I suffer from SAD and 8 months of no sun...was rough for me.

Re: Elyse
I like the changes they have made. You really should! They have an area for creative writing and poetry...no reason to hide you talent where the world can't enjoy it.

You handle the rain so well...That sounds like an awesome place with all of those books...It's amazing how angry people can get on forums.

I love bookstores. We had one in Atlanta that sounds something like that one not so large but big. It had a cafe called Cup and Chaucer it was wonderful. I loved news papers from around the world, before internet! I also love the idea of a cup of hot chocolate. Be blessed.

There's nothing quite like a really good bookstore. Oh, and I really like Portland, OR. If I had to live somewhere other than KC, I think I would choose Portland. I don't mind the rainy days.

I was going to ask about NaNo...
I'm not moving as fast as I should. I've fallen into the habit of re-reading and editing as I go, which is fine when there's no deadline. So today I'll just wade in and let the nouns and verbs fall where they may.

We have a cool used bookstore, but I miss having a Borders or Barnes and Noble 10 minutes away from me! lol
Haven't written for AC for a while, so I guess I'll be surprised when I log on again? lol
