Happy Happy Thanksgiving and family day.....I have been thinking of you
allday that this will be the best.
Australia...wellChurches have a harvest thanksgiving service at the end of Summer.....and I always say that the convicts who were sent out to the Penal colonies in Australia probably didn't see much to be thankful for.

We don't have Thanksgiving in the UK either, but we do have plenty of turkey at Christmas ( and mashed potatoes!)

I have NEVER been able to understand how one can eat any kind of potatoes out of a box, smashed or otherwise! (Well, maybe potato chips, but they come in bags, LOL.) So, good for you not to adopt such nasty practices!
And yes, we do have turkey and pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving, even if we didn't have Pilgrims. Instead we had the coureurs de bois...
And Happy Thanksgiving!

Got to have real mashed potatoes!!!! I was up until one this morning baking pumpkins for real, homemade, pumpkin pie!! This is the first time that I have tried this and I hope it tastes as good as it looks. Just put the cherry pie in, the turkey is in the smoker, should be tasty!!!
Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!
