This is beautiful, Ash.....I was very likely sitting on those same rocks the weekend before! As a second-generation American, I've always felt a sense of pride and thankfulness for the freedoms and rights that we hold dear in the USA on Thanksgiving Day....Mal

I think your patriotic spirit shines here..Kudos to you American :) and I also think people go looking to better their lives and of their families (greener pastures I mean) and in your case you did not quit and made something of yourself.
