Ash, I can relate in that my Dad passed away from Kidney disease,
something the medical field knew little about back in 1952 when I was only four....if he was alive today, they could probably give him diaysis or something and cure him...
oh well, he lives on in my heart, even though I never really knew him, and I've had more than one person tell me he was a godly man, with a dry sense of humour.
