Sports and the arts should be dedicated to the human Spirit not a reason
to vilify a people.......I remember the Montreal Olympics and my heart bleeds, so on this night when my faith reminds me to pray for Peace on earth and Good will to all....I pray that hardened hearts will be touched, that someone can be just honoured for their achievement. What can possibly make someone from Iran feel such hate for an opponent from Israel...what have politics to do here? Well done little sportsperson...the better athlete won.
Have a lovely holiday darling....I feel better now that I have got all that off my chest.

This is so moving and yet so sad - why can't human beings respect each other and learn to live together??

It was a momentous ceremony! There are times when people say more about who they are by their actions! He was elated and kept smiling even though his handshake was refused! So horrible when humanity shuns another because of the race they represent! So misguided by some! Well, I say congrats and it was wonderful seeing him rise above his adversaries so to speak! sam
