Happy New Year to you and yours! And this is good stuff, although not all that surprising, with all the amazing talent concentrated in that small place!
And it reminds me - I'll have to dig out the piece on the sorry state of Muslim science that appeared in the Scientific American a couple of years ago...

Very interesting article darling......we have much in Australia tothank our
