I used to sit under the night sky when I was a lonly marine on Okinawa and think how far away the world of home was...nice work.

Your gift is your personal style, like that of a good singer who must "sell" the song by making every listener (in this case, reader) feel that he/she is the one addressed. Very fine. You make me want to yell, "Hey, I must be the one! Look! MY hair's 'white as the clouds in the blue sky'! Maybe whiter!"
