Normally I would say there is nothing wrong with a little play but that guy finds fault in normal breathing! I hope it was a good reprieve but with him, it was probably a nightmare! I can't get over what an ogre he was! Just an awful human being! sam

You do such a fine job of describing the tension. Thankfully there were things to occupy your mind.

T... You describe the feeling of Shabbat so well... I too remember while visiting my grandparents the feeling of peace and the smells :-) and as my own children were growing up I recall trying so hard to install into them that same excitement I used to feel when Friday night aproached... Though I usually was dead tired by the end of the Shabbat meal I was also so proud of myself (... 4 kids spanking clean... a spotless house and a delicious meal... no small accomplishment loll ) How sad that man spoiled for you... xoxoxo

You seemed happy there for a little bit but I agree with Kabu.
Do you still continue in your jewish upbringing, or did you come to believe in Jesus as God's Son, as your saviour?

At times I have wondered how much pain one can live with
yet still continue to live and breathe.
I seriously think you should compile all these memories of yours and get published.
Love and Blessings to you as well
