We must do what we are mentally in need of doing but always remembering to examine the consequences of our action beforehand. Of course the older I get, the more silent I get luv.

I say keep on going. Easier said then done, but I feel in the long run we will all be better off...

Re:
Excellent point, CC..HOWEVER, knowing if what you say is totally meaningless or quivers an opening of thought somewhere is the trick. I've been made aware that my voice is provocative, upsetting, etc. but I've also been told it is needed. So, rather confusing...
Thank you for sharing, my friend.

Perfectly stated, Dear Sam; then you have those who expect civility but refuse to extend the same..

I am with CC here, I think he has said it very well..(It is up to us to have a mature discussion especially when it involves others with different views and not take it personally which we tend to do. If it is not going to make a difference then it is no use making an enemy of those opposing your views). Thank you Raye for this.

Well Raye I think we should look at this logically. If what one says isn't going to make any difference, then why upset others. If it is going to make a difference, then of course that is a different ball game.

I think one should follow their heart and be satisfied! it is fine to disagree but it must be done with civility! Those who are not that way are a waste of a person's time in my humble opinion! sam

There are always going to be those around who disagree with your beliefs...I think it's hard on either side but then I'm a pacifist and find it hard to fight but there are things I would fight for...injustices and cruelty...although my 'fight' would remain peaceful...if that makes sense!
