Sinome, this reminds me of a young Pharaoh seemingly
with his known world in his hands, and yet, as you vividly show us, the sand he dances on now, will sometime soon cover him in burial...it really emphasizes the vanity (emptiness) of life.

Powerful and I can actually envision the 'citadel' or defender - the young man raving and concern from the nurturing of a soul as sweet as yours, Sinome. This touched me. I could see this - Elyse
