Sadly, it can hurt a person to do the right thing in an imperfect world. Since you went by your conscience I will stand with you and pray for this to resolve in your favor. And it seems from your writing, that your intuition is very sound and reliable. God has protected me many times lately from similar mistakes on a much smaller, pettier level, but maybe the same concept.

As long as you can live with the decision you have made it is the right one for me! There haven't many people reading on Blogit lately! That might be a reason you haven't had a visit! sam

That's a frightening post for me. I don't have what it takes anymore to deal in situations like that. It makes a nervous wreck out of me to feel that I might be responsible for anyone else and their finances.

It's just incidental that nobody on Blogit visited your blog. When it
rains, it pours, they say. Keep walking even if it be in the other direction, after the break.

It seems sad that it all had to be cancelled but if your gut feeling was
that something was wrong with the deal then of course you have done the right thing...but it is pretty awful to be the person who will get punished now by all those disappointed people.
Wonfering if you will lose your job because of this...hope not.

Got a little lost here, but like your last one--especiall the second knock being the denial of the first, and the third being what ever is going to be. If thought is process, then what's the other side ogf form. Do I hear one hand clapping?

I am sorry to hear you had such an stressful week T... What matters is that you made the right decision for your client and that you should be proud of. Your profesionalism is comendable and greed did not get the best of you... so it was not a "lost week" and you did not lose all that money... you paid it in exange for a lesson: to listen to your gut feelings and avoid next time the conflict that produced all that stress... On another subject... what blog are you talking about? This one many including myself love... Readership numbers have declined lately but that happens here occationally, sometimes people have stressful weeks :-) so please, do not cancel the subscription... I would miss you tons :-) Be well and try to relax and have fun this week end... xoxox
