With every thing you write, you rope me in..and force me to sit and think about it at the end. A talent to be nurtured, Tzippy!

How unfortunate; your mother was in such a difficult position! I can only imagine what would happen to the baby if he had her exclusively! It's a catch-22; sacrificing one child so to speak to save another! He is such an ogre! sam

Kids and Adults need to be the center of the Universe for at least a few minutes per day, especially if they have had a rough knock, or a series of them. Flexibility is one trait I treasure at this time and am going to center even more on developing: thanks for the idea. I know these difficult types who are good enough to be accepted anyway; they can make the simplest matter hard or the hardest matter harder. Life goes on.

One's past influences everything one is and does, whether one wants it to or not. Being flexible is great, easy, comfortable... but sometimes one has to take a stand, for if no one did, if nothing stood firm, the waters of life would take us all with them... and chaos would result. As kids we need rules as a traveler needs a map, to guide us and tell us the way to get to where we want to go. It is a mistake many made to make those rules feel like walls at either side of our path, impeeding us to go or even look at what is happening around us, making it impossible to go a different way that might take us anyway to where we want to end up. Moderation is the key to a life well lived... and there should be moderation in setting rules as well... Your post is great as usual T... BE well... and never appologize for being the center of your universe... It is as it should be ...until you fall in love that is :-) loll xoxoxo
