My goodness you've had your share of "being the strong one"! Reading your post helps put my problems into perspective. I suppose none of us really knows what strength we have until we face adversity.

You are a strong lady and are in my prayers for you and your brother. Unlike a man who endures pain as a punishment, you accept it as a natural heritage. Bon courage chère.

No damn wonder you're so resilient... You've been tempered.
I'm sipping a toast (coffee) to you and to those you love, and especially to your brother who's fighting that "good night" and taking Dylan's advice not to go gentle into it.

Dear sweet but incredibly strong woman. Yes you are not alone. I would never have thought you were asking for pity. I am honored that you would share any and all things of this sort with us so we can pray for you. I pray for your body to be cleansed of this disease that is straight from the pits of Hell to take out good and lovely people; it is through in your family. You are in the hands of God, as is your brother. You have shown so much love to him and we have been able to feel and share our love and strength with you. Blogit is like that. We may not have met you but because you have uncovered your soul to us we know and love you. God bless you especially this day!

I feel so sorry for your brother, and when I think of his serious problems I am almost embarrassed to even think of my own trivial ones...And I do commend you for your strength, you are a very special lady...

WOW! I'm speechless! But, I am glad your brother is in the best place he can be now! As with you I am no stranger to dealing with death and I understand the presence you refer to! I am so very sorry for all you have had to endure but I admire your spirit! The Habs had a great win last night, I was rooting but more astonished at the number of goals they scored, I just love games like that! And it was the Wild they tore up so it was even more pleasing for me! You have

! I shall be in prayer vigil for your brother, too! sam
