In my experience, I too forget having come out of a sound sleep
talking/yelling (It always wakes me up). Often times I can recall it happening though, weeks or months later.

When I was young I liked how my dad woke me up. He'd say quietly, "It's 6:00" (or whatever the time was) and I knew he would not come back again. If I got up early I'd eat bacon and eggs with him. So, now when I wake my kids up I always try to do it quietly and tell them the time. But, I usually have to call them more than once.

FormerStudentIntern
R I slept through Mrs. Sun, going to check her house in the Poconos for a few hours this morning. Absolutely, I treat her like an aunt or something. But I can live without that trip today. I wrote the poem and then slept in. And, I dream of my parents and our old house down here. BC-A, Bill’s R®st
