I work strongly on the principle of "make things yourself" it's amazing how much less there is in the way of non-compostable reubbish at the end of the day if you don't buy pre-made things.

I dislike paper plates and the like so I use glass! Also I use cloth napkins to cut down on the waste as well! I think using candles instead of electricity is a good one!
