I just wish they would have known me well enough to trust me with their horrible secret. I drove one of them to K Mart to get them school supplies for something they needed the next day and I remember her really checking me out and I KNOW now that she was trying to decide IF she could trust me. It's all just so sad. Thanks for your encouragement Sam.

It is a terrible tragedy and I admire their courage for coming forward and hopefully they will helps others to action too! I wouldn't be so hard on yourself because it is as you said others were wanting to come live with you! If they would have given the slightest hint that things were bad you would have reacted immediately to aid them. sam

What a terrible tragedy it is that so many have suffered, and are suffering, such a fate as this. It is far too prevalent and most of us know someone who has been through that and their lives will forever be a struggle because of it.
