Yes, in my own experiences, I have seen the lack of respect and even humanity if you are "different" in any way.

Probably ingrained I think it is just a herd instinct if one wandered away from the tribe it would probably have been curtains. We just have to think beyond this. Eventually I suspect we shall all settle back down and if attacked by Aliens all will reunite as Earthlings. Thank you for your enlightening theory on my blog.
