Usually, I have a better sense of what my dreams mean, but my mind has been very preoccupied of late. Perhaps it has to do with that or the various concerns with which I have been preoccupied. One of those concerns has been ecological in that my two youngest children have been hospitalized with asthma attacks, one for each of the two prior weekends, and I lay the blame for that squarely on New Jersey's toxic environment of too many roads and too many cars. My thoughts as to a solution involve home shops and tearing up the roads to plant crops, so perhaps the bears represent the natural use of the ground, the shovel planting, the tavern the community based on that more natural footing of home gardens and shops, the town the existing local commerce and the swift and easy travel through the woods the healthier environment for walking between home and town.
I guess it only took a little time to "talk" it out here.
